Please note many of the originals are quite small and may only enlarge to A5 size at best. The books quoted are those which some of the images in that section come from and are recommended if you are interested in that period or subject, however some images are from general books on architecture like British Architectural Styles, British Interior Styles and the English Country House Explained. The buildings in the pictures are not all open to the public. Some are shown in their original form and are different today while a few are compilations from a number of sources and do not exist as seen in the picture.
